TECHNIBOX
Accessible from a special outside door, the Technibox provides a single place for all the essential controls that ensure proper operation of your motorhome.
The Technibox is sealed with a lockable watertight door that opens on two different technical compartments:
- the electricity area gives you access to the electrical panel: no more contortions when you change a fuse!
- The clean water technical area allows you to:
– fill up with water,
– adjust the water tank capacity according to the number of people
and/or loads transported,
– easily clean the tank for maximum hygiene.
This compartment has a tray for collecting spilled water; water won’t stagnate in the compartment and drains outthrough the opening designed for this purpose.
The Technibox is standard on all our overcabs and low profiles.
Maximum protection for people
Maximum protection for people Because Chausson doesn’t need to be constrained by a standard in order to ensure maximum protection for customers, all our motorhomes have a 30 mA differential circuit breaker as a standard feature.
Unlike a conventional circuit-breaker, which protects equipment, an earth leakage circuit-breaker also protects people: it automatically cuts off the current when it detects a loss of current indicating an insulation fault.
This device therefore provides protection against short-circuits and excessive heating of conductors in the event of an overload.
